Barcelona plan to seal the fate of 7 of their stars during the World Cup break

FC Barcelona plan to take advantage of the international break due to the World Cup in Qatar to try to resolve outstanding renewals for seven players,

including Dembele, Balde, Inaki Peña, Marcos Alonso, Bellerin, Busquets and Sergei Roberto, while Memphis, whose contract expires in June 2023, will be eliminated.

Barcelona wants to prepare a new contract for Dembele as soon as possible until at least 2026, especially since the priority at Camp Nou is to solidify the French wing’s status,

with a contract until June 2024 and a condition of termination of only 50 million euros half for player and agent Moussa Sissoko.

FC Barcelona wants to avoid the effect of raising the value of the World Cup for their players and salaries, with the player knowing

Barcelona’s interest so that last season’s crises do not repeat themselves and ready to say “yes” to any new offer with better advantages.

Barcelona also aspires to renew the contract of young left-back Alejandro Balde (19), a young star who has become among the most used players by coach Xavi Hernandez,

to the point where he plays on both sides, and Barcelona is working to seal his future with his agent Jorge Mendes.

Mendes previously met with Barcelona’s director of football, Matteo Alemani, in mid-October to discuss ways to renew the player’s contract, which expires in 2024.

Barcelona is also considering extending Inaki Peña’s contract (23 years) and in 2020 he renewed his contract for two seasons, until 2023, and is receiving interest from Real Betis and Galatasaray.

Barcelona also intends to renew Marcos Alonso, while Ahéctor Bellerin will be dumped, and there are two other files the club will need to address,

Sergei Roberto (30) has only signed a contract until 2023 and has also shown Xavi to be a good replacement.

Sergei Busquets, whose current contract expires on June 30, is about to exit Camp Nou, especially as he is strongly wanted in the American League.
