Argentine star Lionel Messi scored his country’s first goal against Saudi Arabia during the match at Lucille Stadium in the first round of the group stage for the third set of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
The Argentine star managed to score Argentina’s first goal from the penalty mark with a grounded shot to the right of Saudi goalkeeper Mohammed Al-Owais.
With Lionel Messi’s goal in the Saudi net, he became the first Argentine player to score in four World Cups.
Messi would like to continue to shine through that tournament and eventually secure the title in order to be the best conclusion to his near-end football career.
