French club Paris Saint-Germain announced on Saturday that Argentine star Lionel Messi would miss tomorrow’s game due to a blow, remain in care as a precaution, and will resume group training next week, before the 2022 World Cup.
The statement confirms that Keylor Navas will also be absent due to back pain treatment. Presnel Kimpembe is supposed to miss the match as he continues his workouts with the announcement that he will return early next week.
Meanwhile, Fabian Ruiz will remain absent with a left hamstring injury and is expected to return to training next weekend.
After completing a full 90 minutes against Juventus in midweek, Messi misses out on the weekend but is set to return to training next week, with one PSG match remaining against Oxer in the Parc des Princes on 13 November ahead of the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup.
Sources inside the club said in statements to French media: Leo Messi is fine, and will return to training normally in two or three days, he does not want to risk anything.
Argentina play in Group C at the 2022 Qatar World Cup, with Saudi Arabia, Poland and Mexico.
