Real Madrid lost to Rayo Vallecano’s counterpart by three goals to two on Monday in the 13th round of the La Liga football competition.
Rayo Vallecano took the lead through Sante Comisanya in the 5th minute, drawing Real Madrid’s side through Luka Modric in the 37th minute from the penalty spot.
Eder Militao scored Real Madrid’s second goal in the 41st minute, but Rayo Vallecano managed to score the equalizer in the 44th minute.
In the second half, Rayo Vallecano’s side took the lead by scoring the third goal through Oscar Trejo from the penalty spot in the 67th minute.
With this result, the Real Madrid team’s balance stopped at 32 points in second place in the La Liga table, behind
Barcelona’s leading team, with 34 points.
For his part, Rayo Vallecano’s side raised their tally to 21 points in eighth place in the La Liga table.
