Winning today after Mohamed Salah’s double, Liverpool, which had lost to Nottingham Forest and Leeds United in the past two stages of the competition, rose to 19 points from 13 games in eighth place.
Tottenham’s 26-point tally, in fourth place, was interrupted by the last Champions League qualifier of next season, who made 14 appearances.
Mohamed Salah opened the scoring for Liverpool early in the 11th minute, before adding the Reds’ second goal in the 40th minute, bringing his Premier League scoring tally this season to 6.
Spurs Mo Salah’s favorite victim
With these two goals, Salah increased his number of goals against Spurs to 10 in 17 matches played in various tournaments against the white team, which became the “favorite victim” of the Egyptian Pharaoh.
Spurs became the most conceded team for the goals of Mohamed Salah in conjunction with Manchester United, who conceded the same number of goals as the captain of Egypt.
With Liverpool’s team this season, Mohamed Salah has scored 19 goals + 5 assists after 20 games in all competitions.
In his six seasons with the club, he scored (14 goals, 5 assists), and only once before had more goals after 20 games (28 in 2021-2022).
